Gathered Together in Aberdeen!

As part of our work to support ethnic and cultural minority parents to become more involved in their child’s education and the school community we will be holding sessions for parents in ABERDEEN at the end of October.

We have two sessions booked for Parents and one for Parent Councils, have a look below for details of the sessions.

We want to hear from all PARENTS/CARERS from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds about your feelings on education, schools and help you to find out what your rights and role as a parent are.

At the end of the session you will be able to:

  • Talk about barriers you face to getting involved
  • Have a better understanding of what Parent Councils can do
  • Know how you can get more involved in your child’s school and education
